In the last few years. I have focused on the study of Late Roman women. My first approach was as an author of historical fiction. I was planning to write a novel about a 4th c. woman, but I soon realized that the task of researching for the project was more interesting than the actual task of developing the novel. Sharing my knowledge online, especially through my Twitter account (@tadeuscalinca), was also a decisive factor. I felt it was the moment to conduct my research activities in a different way. So far, I have written a couple of articles, one of which has already been accepted for publication in a specialized journal, and a book, which was published in November 2024.
As you can see in the picture, now I use my real name (Jesús Sanchis Calabuig), but I also decided to include my pseudonym, as it is still an important reference for me.
If I have enough strength, time and motivation, I'll try to continue doing research and writing about Late Antiquity.
